Privacy Policy

Spelling Fox does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Everything your family creates in the app stays on your device.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information.
• We do not collect location, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
• We do not use advertising or third-party tracking of any kind.
• We have no servers that receive your data. The app sends your information nowhere.

Information stored on your device only

• Child profiles — a name and avatar you choose for each child.
• Word sets and progress — the words assigned and your child's spelling results.
• Photo import — images you photograph are processed on-device with Apple's text recognition, are not uploaded, and are not kept after words are extracted.
• Microphone / speech — the "Listen & Say" game recognizes speech on-device only; nothing is recorded, stored, or transmitted.

You can remove all of this at any time by deleting a child profile or deleting the app.

Children's privacy

Spelling Fox is designed for children and to comply with COPPA and EU GDPR-K. Because the app collects no personal information and transmits nothing off the device, there is no personal data of a child (or anyone) for us to access, use, or disclose. Purchases and external links are placed behind a parental gate.

Purchases

Spelling Fox offers a single optional one-time purchase ("Unlock Everything"). Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your payment information.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the date above.
